I am the buddy Ross was talking about (who has the 3G running better with a Mac than PC ever could).

Okay, I bought a new MacBook Pro a week ago, the Core i7 17" model. What a pleasure. I've long been anti-Apple. When I worked with Apples in 2001 they were "crummy" to say the least. But now... what can I say; this Nokia E71, with software officially supported for Windows 7, doesn't work on Windows 7, x64 or x86. Yet, I plugged it into my mac via USB. And guess what? It worked. Zero tweaks. Zero manual copying files. Zero anything. Mac OS X Snow Leopard makes me a happy panda.

The underlying network stack is brilliantly well-implemented. Being based on BSD (a Berkeley Software Distribution) it has all the love of good old stable Berkeley sockets powering it. Dial-up networking over bluetooth? Piece of cake. It takes a bit of getting used to that all those complex things you did in Windows are literally, without exaggerating, ONE CLICK AWAY to do. Want to share your Bluetooth Dial-up networking over Wireless. One click. Serious.

Mac Haters and Mac Flamers can whine and whinge all I want but honestly, I won't ever buy a PC again. PCs feel "dirty" and crude. WoW runs JUST FINE at max on my MacBook Pro, I have uTorrent, (not that I need to pirate); 4x web browsers, VLC, Google Earth, a brilliant download manager called iGetter, Adium for chat, and XCode for making iPhone games.

Mac Fanboy? Me?... I regret to inform ya'all... think the answer is a definitive "yes" now. I love it. Best thing I ever bought. <3
